“For help for a variety of projects I want to have contact with youth, want them to feel they are heard by the head of the Church,” His Beatitude Sviatoslav, head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, said in an interview.
In response to the patriarch’s request, young people are preparing a series of questions for the first audiobook in which he will answer their questions about moral problems. This type of dialogue was chosen so that as many young people as possible can hear the official opinion of the Church, particularly on topics that are often kept silent or ones that are not easily raised.
The youth have until December 5, 2011, to ask the patriarch questions, which can be posted on the youth website DyvenSvit, left in a special box in some churches or with the Youth Commission, or they can be sent to the following e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
His Beatitude Sviatoslav’s meetings with youth are an integral part of his visits to the Greek Catholic communities in Ukraine and abroad, since the development of the youth apostolate is one of the priorities of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
