We are very honoured to welcome His Grace, Peter Comensoli, the Archbishop of Melbourne as a special guest of ours at our 70th anniversary celebration of Ukrainian immigration to Australia.
It was his predecessor, Archbishop Daniel Mannix who in 1950- 1963 allowed us to use St Augustine’s as our parish church before the cathedral was built in 1963.

Hundreds of our faithful were baptised, married and buried in this church, in which we will gather on the 9th February at 12:30PM at to praise God and give thanks for those who supported the Ukrainian Catholic community to have a place to celebration the Eastern Rite Liturgy.
