Bishop Mykola Bychok having arrived in Australia, Sydney and completed quarantine, together with Fr. Simon Ckuj will visit Newcastle this coming Sunday, 13 June, 2021 and join parish at Holy Liturgy which begins at 9.30 am.
They will join parish in customary get together in Living Hall after Holy Liturgy before returning to the Sydney Parish, where Bishop Mykola is staying whilst awaiting Melbourne to be cleared of their Covid-19 restrictions.
When circumstances allow, Bishop Mykola will be installed as the new Bishop for Australia, New Zealand and Oceania, allowing Bishop Peter Stasiuk to pursue his personal aspirations in retirement.
