The Saints Volodymyr and Olha Parish Feast day Woodville

Praznyk (Feast Day) celebration at Saints Volodymyr and Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church – Adelaide was held on Sunday 29 July 2018, along with a communal lunch in their church hall.

“Attending the Feast Day was a capacity crowd of 135 parishioners and guests. The guest included representatives from all four Ukrainian parishes – Catholic and Orthodox – in Adelaide. Attending were Rev. Fr. Evgen Kvasniuk, Rev. Deacon Wolodymyr Demchinsky and his wife Stephanie, Rev. Fr. Sviatoslav, a visiting priest from Brisbane, Iryna Kvasniuk, Director of the Ukrainian Community School, Irena Boujenko, Head of the Ukrainian Women’s Association of SA and Frank Fursenko, President of AUSA. Entertainment was provided by a ladies’ choir lead by Maria Kara and Orysia Sudomlak” – reports Association of Ukrainians in SA.

The Feast day begun with Divine Liturgy and was followed by a Traditional Ukrainian Menu Lunch.
