Everything has changed
Till now we were told that the Patriarchal Sobor would be blessed sometime in 2014 – 15. Today we are informed by our Patriarch that the Kyiv Patriarchal Sobor will be officially blessed on Sunday August 18th, 2013.
This means that it is very important that all eparchies, including ours, be present for this blessing and opening. Australia has contributed well over 1 million dollars to the building of the church. Therefore I will lead a pilgrimage to this Blessing and to other sacred places in Ukraine. Details of this pilgrimage will be coming out soon. They will be organised by the Eparchial Pastoral Council led by Marusia Jarockyj. It is important to announce and publish very widely that this event will take place and that anyone interested in this should seriously think about it and let us know.
