His parents came from Calgary, Canada, to celebrate the occasion with him.

Bishop Peter Stasiuk visited Adelaide to help him celebrate as well.

During the weekend, Bishop Peter visited both parishes and held a meetings in each. The pastoral priorities of the Eparchy, i.e. Vision 2020, Bible study, Icon painting, and our Mission in New Zealand were discussed. Moleben for Ukraine was celebrated in the Woodville parish while the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Wayville parish. People had an opportunity to ask questions and to share their opinions about life in the church.

Bishop Peter said that he was “very impressed with the faith and dedication of the clergy and people in Adelaide. The church has a future because our people love our church and work hard to spread our faith”.
