On 18th of January 2015 was held the celebration of The Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord in Ss. Peter and Paul Cathedral Parish in North Melbourne. The Divine Liturgy was celebrated this year by Right Rev. Olexander Kenez and Very Rev. Brian Kelty. The deacons were Rev. Edward Kostraby, Michael Zylan and Justin McDonald. The choir under the direction of Volodymyr Holovko as usually sang magnificently.
Farther Ivan Mysiv returned from Royal Women’s Hospital, where his wife had given birth to their son. On hearing the news, the church burst into a spontaneous cheering. This added a magnificent note to feast day this year. After the Divine Liturgy, the three priests blessed the water. After that they blessed the church and the people with Holy Water.
