Bishop Peter spoke on the importance of listening to the word of God as many did. While service of others is a vital part of any Christian or parish life, it does not replace the importance of listening. He also stressed that God’s word is not “advice” from God but rather good news of our salvation.

The community hall on Suspension Street was filled to capacity with 160 tickets sold. Much higher numbers than has been seen recently.
The Sunshine community choir under Dr. Andrew Soloczynskyj’s leadership sung three songs. Fr. Andriy then picked up his guitar and sang a number of very beautiful songs which left all present very impressed.
These parish feasts are intended to be community builders. The Ardeer Praznyk certainly was that.
