Father Zenon Chorkawyj is the parish priest in Ardeer, Victoria. The church, named after the Dormition of the Mother of God, held its annual praznyk. Bishop Peter Stasiuk, Father Lawrence Foote and Father Ihor Bakaj were guests, along with a delegation of from the Geelong and North Melbourne Parishes. The celebrations were very well organised.
Father Ihor Bakaj, the first resident priest of Ardeer, was presented with a book which featured highlights of his eleven years of service.
As has been the custom, the celebration had a very happy family atmosphere to it. Thank you and God Bless all in the Ardeer Parish.
